Cresta is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to join their team in Melbourne, Australia. Cresta aims to revolutionize contact centers with its AI-driven platform, turning customer conversations into a competitive advantage. The Principal Solutions Engineer will partner with a Sales Director to demonstrate the power of the Cresta platform to potential customers. This role involves providing technical insights and solutioning, conducting product demos, managing technical validation activities, and developing business cases during the sales cycle. The individual will also act as a liaison between sales, customers, and Cresta’s technical teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Qualifying new sales opportunities by understanding customer and technical requirements.
  • Partnering with Sales Directors to understand prospect challenges.
  • Leading discovery calls with prospective customers and internal teams.
  • Delivering captivating product demos.
  • Running ROI workshops to translate solutions into financial business cases.
  • Providing feedback to product management.

Requirements include:

  • 7+ years of experience in a customer facing role, and 1-3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role selling to large enterprises
  • Hands on experience of working with Conversational AI
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Desire for meticulous preparation
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and thoughtfulness
  • Quick learning and ability to explain technological solutions in business terms
  • Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and contact center technologies (a plus)
