Workato is seeking a Senior Platform/CICD Engineer to join its Infrastructure/CICD team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for building a modern cloud-native scalable, flexible, and extensible Internal Platform solution based on Temporal and other tools, with a focus on optimized cost, availability, stability, security and compliance, DevEx, performance, and minimal on-boarding time. The candidate will also maintain and enhance current solutions, onboard Workato components and applications to the Internal Platform, and implement complex deployment scenarios.
The Senior Platform/CICD Engineer will work with engineering teams to improve developer throughput and services through testing and release. They will also gather and analyze metrics from CICD pipelines and infrastructure to assist in performance tuning and stability improvements. Participation in system design consulting, platform management, and architecture reviews will also be required, as well as documenting development processes and best practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Building cloud-native internal platform solutions.
- Maintaining and enhancing current internal platform solutions.
- Implementing complex deployment scenarios.
- Improving services through testing and release.
The ideal candidate should have:
- BS or MS in CS or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineer, Software Engineer, DevOps, SRE or CICD roles.
- Experience with cloud-based architectures and Infrastructure as Code & CICD practices.
- Experience creating application deployments of Kubernetes-based services.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript.
