Workato is seeking a Senior Platform/CICD Engineer to join their Infrastructure/CICD team. The engineer will contribute to building a modern, cloud-native, scalable, flexible, and extensible Internal Platform solution based on Temporal and other tools. This role focuses on optimized cost, availability, stability, security, compliance, DevEx, performance, and minimal onboarding time.
- Participating in building the modern cloud-native scalable Internal Platform solution.
- Maintaining and enhancing current solutions for the Workato Internal Platform.
- On-boarding Workato components & applications to Internal Platform.
- Implementing complex deployment scenarios.
- Working with engineering teams to improve developer throughput.
- Gathering and analyzing metrics from CICD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Participating in system design consulting, platform management, and architecture reviews.
- Documenting development processes and best practices.
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
- Identifying and driving opportunities to improve automation.
- BS or MS in CS or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in hands-on engineering roles (Platform Engineer / Software Engineer / DevOps / SRE / CICD).
- Experience with cloud-based architectures like Amazon Web Services.
- Experience creating application deployments of Kubernetes-based services.
- Experience creating scalable development and integration pipelines.
- Experience with creating internal platform tooling, e.g. CLI tools, etc.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, Python, with preference to Go.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and web services architecture.
- Experience with managing complex infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Hands-on experience with containers.
- Familiarity with software packaging tools, functional testing, security validation tools and services, code coverage tools.
- Readiness to communicate in English with your colleagues.
- Being part of Infrastructure/CICD team.
