Seesaw, trusted by 25 million educators, students, and families, seeks a Full-Stack Software Engineer in Amman, Jordan, to enhance its platform for the MENA region. This role involves building localized and regionally relevant product experiences, focusing on language support and features aligned with regional educational needs. The engineer will collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to design and implement seamless features, contributing to the integration of Seesaw's tools with private education institutions.Seesaw's Engineering team offers ownership over the product roadmap, a strong connection to users, and autonomy to experiment. • Collaborating with product, UX, and engineering teams.
• Developing and maintaining robust solutions.
• Contributing to an iterative development process.
• Full-stack software development for web app (React) and backend (Python).
• Developing a strong technical roadmap and engineering culture.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience developing user-facing features across a frontend and backend stack.
• Experience building products with Python.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining software at scale.
• Strong command of modern web technologies (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Experience developing and using REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Comfort working within complex systems and writing readable, maintainable code.
