Workato is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining test infrastructure, analyzing test runs, debugging test failures, and classifying failures. Workato is a leader in enterprise orchestration, streamlining operations by connecting data, processes, applications, and experiences.
  • Act as the main TestOps engineer for the team
  • Maintain test infrastructure, analyze test runs, debug test failures
  • Enhance existing automated test cases and design new robust test cases
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to reproduce automation issues
  • Participate in end-to-end test cycle for product features
  • Work side-by-side with engineers on testing and automating test cases
  • Identify, document, and debug software defects
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language and one scripting language
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (RSpec, Pytest, Playwright)
  • Experience with building and managing test cases
  • Understanding of various test methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
