Verkada is seeking a Regional Sales Director (Enterprise - West) to lead a team focused on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts within the Corporate market. The Regional Sales Director will oversee the west region and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Enterprise Account Executives.
- Travel up to 50% to support the team in closing deals.
- Drive team performance to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide hands-on support and guidance during the sales process.
- Identify and secure new opportunities in greenfield markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.
- Establish initiatives with channel partners.
- Prepare sales forecasts and develop strategic growth plans.
- Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action.
- Assist with quotes and engage in high-level negotiations.
- Organize pipeline reviews and foster continuous improvement.
- Spearhead recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship.
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years leading high-performing enterprise sales teams.
- Proven track record of success in driving new business acquisition.
- Demonstrated success working on large, complex deals with enterprise corporate accounts.
- Strong ability to manage and execute process-driven sales cycles.
- Relevant experience in SaaS, cloud software, or hardware industries is a plus.
- Experience working with channel partners is highly desirable.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships.
- High IQ, EQ, and self-awareness.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- BS/BA degree strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
