Lunar Energy is seeking a Firmware Lead & Manager to spearhead firmware development for cutting-edge products.

The role involves overseeing the full firmware and software development lifecycle, enhancing functionality, adaptability, and optimization of designs.

Lunar Energy aims to transition homes to 100% clean energy, building clean energy products to electrify homes and connect communities. As a Firmware Lead & Manager you will:

• Refine understanding of product impact.
• Test ideas and designs.
• Design firmware & software for home energy product components.
• Optimize manufacturing by designing automation support functionality.
• Hire, mentor and manage highly skilled engineers.
• Manage schedules and resources.
• Lead design and test methods for new features.

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess these requirements:

• Degree in a computer-engineering related or adjacent field, or demonstrated commensurate ability.
• 7+ or more years of experience delivering firmware for new products as part of a team.
• Proficiency in C, and working familiarity with Cmake.
• Expert in firmware fundamentals, in architecture & design.
• Proven experience in the total lifecycle of products (power electronics).
• Experience with functional safety firmware and system designs.
• Proven experience in driving testing strategy from the design phase to release testing of features and regression testing.
