Software Engineer at Rimes Technologies

Rimes is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Data Service team in Nicosia, Cyprus. The successful candidate will play a key role in the creation of an innovative index marketplace, designing efficient systems, supporting teammates, and driving the company's growth.

In this role, the Software Engineer will utilize their expertise in Python software development, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen to develop products and solutions. The company leverages 25+ years of data engineering experience, that brings content from nearly 800 providers into the investment process of over 75 Trillion in assets under management annually.

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, implementing, and integrating new functionalities into data-centric applications built as microservices and data pipelines.
• Building scalable and robust applications in a distributed multi-tenant hybrid cloud architecture.
• Participating in the full life cycle of user stories.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and QA.
• Contributing to cross-team innovation.
• Continuously learning new skills and sharing knowledge with others.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and integrating new functionalities into data-centric applications.
• Strong technical skills in Python and Git.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud operations.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills.
