Senior Maintenance Mechanic - HVAC Technician at The Copper River Family of Companies

Copper River Enterprise Services is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic - HVAC Technician. This role involves performing skilled work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, and repair to the facilities’ HVAC for the US in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The technician will work throughout all facilities on the New Embassy Compound/NewConsulate Compound (NEC/NCC) to include office buildings, grounds, out buildings, ancillary structures, and residential owned/leased properties. The position reports to the Senior Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the performance of heating, cooling, and related systems.
• Performing preventive maintenance work.
• Maintaining accurate records of buildings systems and equipment.
• Performing skilled mechanical maintenance.
• Troubleshooting problems and performing repairs.
• Providing detailed estimates of repair costs.
• Repairing existing facilities systems.
• Working Monday through Saturday workweek.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school.
• Graduate of a State approved/accredited or military HVAC program or hold a valid Master license at a State level.
• Hands-on experience in rehabilitation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC building systems and equipment.
• Current EPA-approved CFC Universal certification.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation (HVAC) principles.
• Top Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years mechanical experience with overseas HVAC.
• Minimum of five (5) years of journey-level experience in HVAC/mechanical refrigeration systems.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience operating, maintaining, or repairing 100-ton chillers or larger.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good working knowledge to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Ability to manage critical, time sensitive projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
