QA Manager at 2K Madrid

2K Games is seeking a QA Manager to lead a team of QA professionals in its Madrid studio. The QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of 2K’s games and products by managing test processes, implementing quality strategies, and ensuring adequate staffing for assigned projects.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, as well as a passion for the video games industry. The QA Manager will report to the Director, QA, and will work closely with development studios, producers, and platform holders.

Role Involves:

• Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of QA professionals
• Establishing quality standards and best practices
• Managing risk and prioritizing testing efforts
• Liaising with various internal and external departments
• Managing bug reports and QA reports
• Participating in the recruiting and interview process

Requirements:

• Extensive management experience in QA
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Knowledge of bug database systems and QA processes
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a QA Manager or equivalent
• Knowledge of format holder standards (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo)
• Technically proficient with PCs, gaming consoles, and related hardware
• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6+ years of QA experience
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and processes
