iSpot.tv, a company that is changing how brands, agencies, and networks measure the impact of TV advertising campaigns, is looking for a Sr. Revenue Accountant to perform various corporate accounting functions. This role is ideal for an ambitious, experienced professional seeking to join a growing organization. The position offers the opportunity to work with a skilled G&A team responsible for accounting, internal and external reporting, Revenue Recognition & Customer Billing.

Role Involves:

  • Assisting with month-end closing processes and preparing financial statements.
  • Revenue Recognition, reading contracts and ensuring proper revenue rules are followed according to ASC606.
  • Supervising/Assisting the accounts receivable billing process.
  • Knowledge of accruals and ability to develop Month End Schedules.
  • Tax compliance support as needed for various state reporting (Sales and Use Tax).
  • Maintaining various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses.
  • Assisting in preparing audit work papers for year-end audits with outside auditors.
  • Assisting the company in executing company policies and compliance procedures.
  • Other corporate accounting duties or supervision of duties as assigned.
  • Analyzing problems, developing/recommending options, and resolving issues.
  • Assisting with other projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3+ years’ experience with significant accounting responsibilities.
  • 3-5+ years of Revenue Accounting experience
  • CPA track or Audit?Big 4 experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting preferred
  • NetSuite experience highly preferred
  • Salesforce Experience highly preferred
  • SaaS Experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge and Experience with current US GAAP standards required
  • Knowledge of accruals and preparing monthly balance sheet supporting schedules
  • Strong work ethic and drive to seek continual professional development
  • Must be well organized, have the ability to prioritize, be a self-starter and comfortable communicating with Vendors
  • Exceptional attention to detail, professional attitude, reliable
  • Proficient in Excel (Advanced) and Word, 10-key by touch,
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and financial statements
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact with employees and related stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
