Mixbook, the #1 rated photo book service in the US, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Moldova. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers and product owners to design, implement, and deploy innovative systems that scale with Mixbook's growing business and technical needs.

What this role involves:

• Working closely with product owners to design, implement, and deploy systems.
• Scaling the product using technologies like React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.
• Contributing to system design, architecture, and code reviews.
• Collaborating within a cross-functional team.
• Engaging in team development initiatives and knowledge-sharing.

What Mixbook is looking for:

• 5+ years of web development experience.
• Proficiency in both back-end and front-end programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with React or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (ideally, AWS).
• Knowledge of writing automated tests.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Intermediate English speaking skills (B2 or greater).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
