Financial Controller at StraitsX

A Financial Controller position is available at an unnamed company in Singapore.

Role involves:

• Overseeing the general accounting function.
• Ensuring policies and procedures are in place to protect company assets.
• Maintaining company financial records in compliance with company policies.
• Supervising the completion of tax reporting requirements and other reports.
• Coordinating internal and external audits.
• Ensuring the accounting department is staffed with qualified personnel.
• Developing accounting associates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
• At least 3 years of Big 4 audit experience.
• Experience in managed group consolidations.
• 10+ years of combined Public Accounting and Private Industry experience.
• Prior management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to form, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
• Critical ability to think on the go, make decisions, and adapt.
• Experience in analysing business performance and developing financial plans.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
