The Platform Operations Associate role at StraitsX involves building payments infrastructure for digital assets in Southeast Asia. What this role involves:

• Performing onboarding tasks for personal and business accounts.
• Performing due diligence on new and existing clients.
• Reviewing and assessing legal documents.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks related to money laundering and other financial crimes.
• Collaborating with the Onboarding and Compliance team.
• Performing account setup related tasks.
• Supporting internal stakeholders on account management tasks.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum undergraduate degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in KYC/KYB, Compliance, or Legal in the financial services or related industry.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT requirements and controls.
• Experience with handling legal and business documents for international business entities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and spoken).
