Software Engineer (Python) at Careers at Lineate

Lineate is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Python to join their Georgian office. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services using Flask and implementing asynchronous processing to optimize performance. They will also design and build RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.

The role involves:

• Developing and maintaining backend services using Flask
• Implementing asynchronous processing to optimize performance
• Designing and building RESTful APIs
• Optimizing applications for scalability, performance, and security
• Working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Collaborating with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineers
• Monitoring and troubleshooting backend performance issues

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Python backend development
• Strong knowledge of Flask (FastAPI experience is a plus)
• Experience with asynchronous programming (AsyncIO, Celery, etc.)
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with authentication and security best practices
• Version control experience with Git/GitHub
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
