Verkada is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a team of Regional Sales Directors and Enterprise Account Executives, focusing on acquiring new business and driving revenue growth within the public sector (State, Local, and Education) in the Northeast region. This role is crucial for achieving growth and revenue objectives by executing a strategic sales plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals.
  • Dedicate time to field-based sales activities.
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Penetrate new markets with greenfield accounts.
  • Collaborate with various teams and partners to exceed revenue goals.
  • Support and manage customer acquisition strategies.
  • Prepare forecasts and develop growth plans.
  • Oversee performance metrics and take corrective action.
  • Assist in quotes and negotiations.
  • Organize pipeline reviews and training sessions.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor Enterprise Account Executives.


Requirements:
  • 5-10+ years of managing a high-performing enterprise sales team.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales-driven organization.
  • Customer-focused with experience in developing SLED relationships.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners.
  • Relevant software or hardware industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MEDDIC.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
