Senior Software Engineer, Service Infrastructure

Job Description

Highnote is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Service Infrastructure team. This role involves building and managing tools that empower Highnote's engineers to ship code to production quickly and reliably. The engineer will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including local development environments, CI/CD, and monitoring. The Senior Software Engineer will drive the planning, execution, and success of technical projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and building tools for development and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Driving the planning, execution, and success of technical projects.
• Developing high-quality and reliable software using Python, Java, Shell, and other relevant languages.
• Building relationships with engineering teams to understand their needs and improve their workflows.

Highnote is looking for candidates with:

• A strong technical background with 8+ years of experience as a backend/infrastructure engineer.
• Experience with Developer Productivity (CI/CD, Docker, test frameworks, build tools, IDE Plugin development) or GCP Cloud (Spanner, Pub/Sub, Kubernetes) technologies.
• Experience with Python, Java, and Bash scripting.
• A passion for improving developer productivity and building scalable systems.
