Job Description

Highnote is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data to join their Reporting and Analytics Team. This team is crucial for data-informed decision-making, designing, building, and maintaining scalable reporting systems and analytics solutions. Highnote is an embedded finance company that sets the standard in modern card platform management.This role involves:

• Developing scalable, robust, and automated reporting systems.
• Creating analytics reports that provide actionable insights.
• Modeling and designing modern data structures in SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards using tools like Looker and Looker Studio.
• Writing robust, performant, and maintainable code for data processing and analytics.
• Crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Collaborating with internal business teams and external stakeholders.
• Documenting and maintaining workflows.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing high-volume reporting solutions and analytics pipelines.
• Expertise in Java and Python for building reporting jobs and data processing.
• Deep understanding of data modeling and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to create highly performant, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
• Hands-on experience with reporting tools or frameworks (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or custom solutions).
