Security Design Consultant at BeamUP

BeamUP, trusted by Fortune 500 companies, is seeking a Security Design Consultant to join its interdisciplinary team. The consultant will play a crucial role in developing client standards, evaluating and refining AI-generated security designs, and supporting the evolution of BeamUP's technology. The role involves collaborating with researchers, software designers, developers, clients, and QA testers.

Once familiar with the BeamUP platform, the consultant may engage with clients to understand their security needs and develop their design 'Play Book'. Ownership of the review and acceptance of output designs is a key responsibility, ensuring client requirements and compliance are met. Providing subject matter expertise and feedback to internal colleagues is essential to guide prioritization and ensure product development reflects client needs.

Role involves:

• Developing client standards for security systems.
• Evaluating and refining AI-generated security designs.
• Collaborating with internal teams and clients.
• Reviewing and accepting output designs.
• Providing subject matter expertise.

Requirements:

• +4 years experience in planning and designing security systems (VSS, ACS, IDS).
• Experience in producing technical and business reports like BoMs, Schedules, and Reports
• Security systems engineering and design knowledge (Lenel, CQR, Bosch, Axis etc.).
• Extensive Autodesk AutoCAD knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Customer service mindset and a positive attitude
• Attention to detail.
• Project management and documentation skills.
