Cloud Engineer at The Dot Collective

The Dot Collective is seeking a passionate Cloud Engineer to join their team. The Dot Collective is a consultancy based across the UK and EU, emphasising engineering excellence and empowering its people. The Cloud Engineer will engage with AWS or GCP cloud ecosystems, ensuring best practices for new and existing solutions.

This role involves:

• Building, deploying, and managing Cloud Infrastructure through IaC.
• Working with serverless services like AWS S3, Glue, Lake Formation, and GCP's Cloud Functions, Big Query, Data Fusion.
• Integrating native cloud services with 3rd party solutions.
• Understanding the Python ecosystem.
• Architecting, designing, developing, deploying, and operating a data platform.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP cloud ecosystems.
• Experience with DevOps approaches supported with Python.
• Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices within cloud environments.
