GRC Security Analyst at Appfire Technologies, LLC.

Appfire, a leading provider of Atlassian apps, is seeking a GRC Security Analyst to join their Information Security team. This role involves handling diverse security-related tasks and issues, managing risk, and ensuring compliance.

The GRC Security Analyst will work closely with the CISO to manage governance, risk, and compliance security-related tasks, focusing on people, practices, systems, and metrics. They will also keep up with industry requirements, assist in identifying security risks, and participate in vendor reviews in accordance to Appfire policy. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Poland.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and facilitating security governance goals.
• Supporting sales channels with security assessments and audits.
• Conducting vendor risk management assessments.
• Providing support for regulatory and compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking information security policy non-conformities.
• Assisting in identifying and tracking information security risks and mitigation plans.
• Tracking and ensuring resolution of audit and risk assessment findings.
• Assisting in monitoring business continuity and disaster recovery testing.
• Performing periodic compliance checks.
• Supporting integration plans for acquisitions.
• Supporting the update of security policies and processes.
• Participating in security awareness campaigns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in information security risk and/or compliance roles.
• Knowledge of common Information Security frameworks (CIS, ISO 27001 & SOC 2).
• Experience with cloud-based security tools is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• CISA, CISSP, or similar certifications are a plus.
