Senior GRC Security Analyst at Appfire Technologies, LLC.

Appfire is seeking a Senior GRC Security Analyst to join their Information Security team. The successful candidate will manage risk through a shared vision with Appfire’s business leaders, focusing on governance, risk, and compliance, and work closely with the CISO with an emphasis on people, practices, systems, and metrics. This role involves staying updated with industry requirements, identifying security risks, and executing remediation plans and will conduct regular vendor reviews and ensure compliance with Appfire policy, as well as provide ISO 27001 and other audit support.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating security governance goals and initiatives.
• Supporting sales channels with security questions and audits.
• Conducting vendor risk assessments and follow-ups.
• Supporting regulatory and compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking security policy non-conformities.
• Assisting in identifying and tracking security risks and mitigation plans.
• Monitoring business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Developing control key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Performing compliance checks across the Appfire organization.
• Coordinating integration plans for Appfire acquisitions.
• Managing security awareness campaigns.
• Evaluating and recommending GRC technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security risk and/or compliance roles.
• Knowledge of common Information Security frameworks such as CIS, ISO 27001 & SOC 2
• Prior experience with cloud-based security tools, technologies, and controls.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CISA, CISSP or similar security/GRC focused certifications a plus.
