Appfire is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Product Support Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with Appfire’s business-class products and cutting-edge Atlassian products like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, deployed globally in cloud and data center environments. The Senior Product Support Engineer will be responsible for assisting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and delivering solutions to customer technical issues.

The role involves:

  • Diagnosing, configuring, troubleshooting, and solving technical problems related to Appfire Apps in the Atlassian landscape.
  • Gaining experience with technologies such as SaaS, Virtual Environments, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Docker containers.
  • Applying System Administration / DevOps CI/CD skills to integrate Appfire apps and Atlassian tools.
  • Providing technical guidance and issue-resolution support to peer and junior resources.
  • Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to complex software product support issues.
  • Taking ownership of customer issues and driving them to resolution.
  • Collaborating with technical architects, leads, and principals.
  • Working with customers or internal teams on escalated issues.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Scripting, database, and systems skills.
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a system or Application Support Engineer/Senior Support Engineer, managing and supporting enterprise-class software products.
  • 5+ years of experience as an application or system administrator in a collaborative role.
  • Knowledge of Groovy, JavaScript, or Python is a plus.
  • B.E/B.Tech or MCA, or a comparable discipline.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products is highly desirable.
