Venture Global is seeking a Technical Manager, OFE Engineering to join their team in Florence, Italy. This role involves significant collaboration with a team located in the United States, including periodic travel to Europe and the US. The Technical Manager will work within the Projects organization, responsible for the delivery and performance of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) to Venture Global facilities.This role involves:
- Interfacing with technical directors and discipline leaders of OFE partners.
- Overseeing the deployment of OFE technical resources.
- Coordinating the Venture Global engineering team assigned to the OFE project.
- Collaborating with the Venture Global interface manager.
- Driving OFE teams to resolve technical queries.
- Facilitating lesson learned sessions with OFE partners.
- Applying best industry project management practices.
- Partnering with Venture Global OFE project managers.
- Following up on the OFE scope after equipment delivery.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of twelve years of experience in Design, Commissioning, or Operations in Gas processing or Cryogenic Industry.
- Minimum of five years of multi-discipline engineering management experience.
- Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work within project deadlines.
- Cultural openness to interact with diverse organizations.
- Knowledge of Codes, Standards, and Industry Best Practices.
- Advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Opportunity to influence decisions that improve reliability and operability of OFE systems.
