Prezzee is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join their team in either Sydney or Melbourne. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative agile development team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code while adhering to best practice software engineering techniques.

The Senior Software Engineer will be instrumental in fulfilling Prezzee's FY25 strategic ambitions, disrupting the gift card and payments market globally. Prezzee pledges to trust, protect, and develop their engineers' capabilities, empowering them to take ownership of their products and technical decisions.

Prezzee is a global digital gifting platform that creates human connections through remarkable gifting moments.

The role involves:

  • Working with React 18, Mono Repo using TurboRepo.
  • Using Micro frontends.
  • Working with Mix of Incremental Page Regeneration, Client Side Rendering and Server Side Rendering.
  • Using GraphQL Backend for Frontend using Apollo server.
  • Working with MicroServices backend capable of over 100 orders per second.
  • Using Realtime page performance monitoring (LCP, Total Load Time, etc..) in Datadog

Requirements:

  • Strong front-end development experience with React 18 (or ability to learn quickly).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Extensive experience crafting and building software using the latest delivery techniques.
  • A passion for quality, maintainable code and continuous improvement.
  • A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
  • Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, and a passion to mentor junior developers.
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical partners, with the capability to influence.
  • A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care.
