Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) at Prezzee

Prezzee is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to join their growing team. The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne. The successful candidate will work with a team of engineering professionals to build a global gift card solution. Prezzee is experiencing growth, with hundreds of thousands of users across the USA, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

As a Senior Software Engineer, the individual will collaborate with talented engineers in small, supportive teams. They will deliver quality and maintainable code, applying best practice software engineering techniques throughout the lifecycle. The Senior Software Engineer will also assist in coaching and mentoring other Engineers.

What the role involves:

• Working with React 18.
• Crafting and building software using the latest delivery techniques.
• Contributing to a collaborative agile development team.
• Ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Motivating self and others including mentoring junior developers

Requirements for the role:

• Strong front-end development experience with React 18 (or ability to learn quickly).
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
• Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, with a passion to mentor junior developers.
• A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care.
