Job Description
The Profit and Asset Protection Manager role is within a company operating in the EMEA region. The role focuses on ensuring the security and compliance of the supply chain. This involves working closely with various teams and third-party suppliers to mitigate risks and maintain standards.Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring areas of responsibility meet business needs and KPIs.
  • Conducting one-to-ones and appraisals with direct reports.
  • Leading investigations and root cause analysis of incidents.
  • Liaising with third-party suppliers to ensure compliance.
  • Reviewing and amending SOPs.
  • Resolving losses in the supply chain.
  • Offering specialist advice on security and supply chain risk.
  • Assisting in the strategic development of distribution centers.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Producing reports.
  • Investigating sensitive internal matters.
  • Developing improved methods for supply chain protection.
  • Serving as an out-of-hours point of contact.
  • Attending meetings and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Conducting checks and reviews at distribution centers and supplier locations.
  • Gathering intelligence to reduce business risk.
  • Ensuring physical security and processes are followed.
  • Promoting departmental values.
  • Developing and liaising on the Modern Day Slavery Policy.
  • Conducting disciplinary hearings.
  • Reviewing data and incidents for accuracy.
  • Performing random checks to ensure compliance.
  • Ensuring hubs/DCs operate to group model standards.
  • Developing supply chain security.
  • Ensuring physical and technical security is functional.
  • Developing corporate policies.
  • Conducting field checks on drivers.
  • Investigating supply chain discrepancies.
The role requires:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interview training (Wicklander/Police etc.).
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of GDPR.
  • Knowledge of relevant security legislation.
  • Ability to deal with incidents at short notice.
  • Flexibility in work hours.
  • Ability to travel.
