Infrastructure Support Engineer

Job Description

The Infrastructure Support Engineer role is with a company in Dubai. The candidate will deliver specialized technical assistance to company employees and maintain system performance. They will handle employee requests, troubleshoot technical problems, and work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades.

The role involves:

• Handling employee requests via corporate communication platforms.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems involving infrastructure services.
• Working with cross-functional teams to design and implement system upgrades and solutions.
• Conducting proactive analysis of infrastructure-related issues and proposing improvements.
• Creating and maintaining documentation of technical procedures and user manuals.
• Performing on-site maintenance of servers, Wi-Fi, and corporate equipment as needed.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in IT support roles
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple issues simultaneously
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems and general infrastructure services
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
• A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash is an advantage
