Associate Director Corporate Development & Strategy (m/w/d)

Job Description

CarOnSale is seeking an Associate Director Corporate Development & Strategy to work directly with the leadership team. This role involves supporting fundraising and M&A transactions, contributing to strategy development, and conducting market research to identify growth opportunities. The Associate Director will also manage partnerships with OEMs and industry stakeholders, oversee project management activities, and engage with customers, suppliers, partners, and investors. Collaboration with various departments is essential to align and support strategic goals.

• Working directly with the CarOnSale Leadership on highly strategic projects
• Supporting Fundraising and M&A Transactions
• Supporting Strategy Development and Implementation
• Conducting Market Research and Analyses to Identify Growth Opportunities
• Managing Partnerships with OEMs and Industry Stakeholders
• Overseeing Key Project Management Activities
• Direct contact with customers, suppliers, partners and investors
• Close Collaboration with Various Departments to Ensure Alignment and Support of strategic Goals

Requirements include a degree in business administration, management, economics, engineering, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in a competitive environment such as consulting, technology, startups, investment banking, or venture capital. The ideal candidate is a flexible, solution-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills, proven project management capabilities, and excellent communication skills. They should also possess strong networking abilities and an interest in growth companies, the automotive industry, marketplace platforms, and technology. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as fluency in business German and English (C1 level), are essential.
