CarOnSale is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Inventory team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will focus on backend development, constructing and optimizing robust, scalable solutions. This individual will significantly contribute to shaping CarOnSale platform, enhancing data flows, and fostering team development. They will have the autonomy to influence development strategies and backend architecture.

The Role Involves:

• Mentoring and developing team members.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
• Expertise in backend tech stack, including TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven mentorship experience.
• Knowledge of SCM and CI/CD tools like Git, Docker, and CI pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
