In this role, the candidate will:
- Take responsibility for technical support requests.
- Answer calls, chats, and emails in a positive and empathetic manner.
- Provide individual advice to each customer.
- Identify upselling potential across a broad range of products.
- Ensure the accessibility of customers' Linux/Windows servers.
- Perform initial error analysis and provide troubleshooting assistance.
- Escalate requests via Jira tickets to the data center.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification.
- Solid knowledge in the IT environment.
- Initial experience in telephone and written customer support.
- Sales engagement.
- Knowledge in the administration and configuration of Linux and Windows servers.
- Knowledge in the administration of complex networked IT systems.
- Experience with Parallels Plesk and MS Outlook Exchange (ideal).
- Familiarity with MX records, DNS records, and domain management.
- Proficiency with common internet applications and web standards.
- Ability to combine initiative with teamwork and maintain focus under stress.
- Good English skills are advantageous.
