Job Description
IONOS, a leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting, is seeking a Head of Service & Security Management to join their team in Berlin. This role involves leading a team responsible for standardized management systems for enterprise and public sector clients. The Head of Service & Security Management is responsible for ensuring continuous improvement through GRC standards, certifications, and attestations.
Role involves:
  • Leading a team of organizational security and service management employees.
  • Serving as a central point of contact for established standards and certifications within the IONOS Group.
  • Being responsible for the security risk management of the IONOS Group and other parts of the United Internet holding company.
  • Operating and being responsible for core processes and management system activities, such as document, process, and emergency management.
  • Reporting on activities and maturity levels of management systems in a target group-oriented manner.
  • Serving interfaces to other corporate functions such as compliance and legal.
Requirements:
  • A successfully completed university degree in computer science, with a focus on information security or similar, or many years of professional experience in the field of information security, service management or comparable areas.
  • Knowledge of international and national standards and norms such as ISO 27001, ISO 50001.
  • Experience working in certified scopes.
  • Initial leadership experience.
  • Ability to convince specialist departments in an international organization and motivate them to implement standards and processes.
  • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and communicate complex relationships in a target group-oriented and direct manner.
  • Enjoyment in finding smart, economical solutions for implementing standard requirements.
  • Ability to communicate confidently in English, both verbally and in writing.
