Senior Buyer

Job Description

JD is seeking a Senior Buyer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Senior Buyer will lead the buying team, build range plans, and liaise with brands. The successful candidate will possess a passion for the company's products and a strong knowledge of current sportswear and high street fashion trends.

Role involves:

• Representing the Buying function on Kid's Footwear or Men's Apparel & Accessory category.
• Attending appointments, involved in product selection and editing.
• Attending product launches and relevant trade shows.
• Analyzing sales, negotiating with brands, and identifying new opportunities.
• Managing budgets and presenting ranges for sign-off.
• Preparing and presenting trade performance.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of the store base and website.
• Confidence in decision-making and product selection.
• Ability to act independently.
• Extensive product knowledge and market awareness.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience in fashion and branded goods buying is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a creative environment.
