Job Description

IONOS is seeking a (Senior) Information Security Professional (w/m/d) to join their multinational Security-Management-Team in Berlin. The successful candidate will contribute to protecting IONOS's products and system landscape within the rapidly growing cloud sector.

The role involves working with various teams to establish and operate an integrated management system that includes certified areas from ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and BSI C5. The primary goal is to motivate and manage the implementation of security mechanisms, meeting standard security requirements and enhancing benefits for customers and the company.

The role involves:

• Analyzing systems, processes, and products according to information security standards.
• Qualifying and evaluating measures to meet security requirements and leading projects.
• Planning and conducting measures for new and re-certifications, including follow-up activities.
• Designing and creating reports and key figures, presenting them to top management.
• Taking on topics in other security disciplines like awareness, risk management, or emergency management.

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on information security.
• Solid knowledge of compliance standards for cloud services and hosting providers in the European Union, e.g., BSI C5, BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, GDPR, CSA CCM.
• Experience with industry-specific and international regulations would be an advantage, e.g., HIPAA or BAIT/DORA.
• Enthusiasm for technology and experience with cloud services and the related effects of shared responsibility.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and a good team player.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate proactively and confidently in German and English.
