Job Description
IONOS is seeking a Team Lead (w/m/d) - Site Reliability Engineer/GoLang to join their team in Berlin. IONOS is the leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting services. IONOS Cloud requires a new team to better manage and monitor its software components, improve tooling, and increase automation. The ideal candidate will have experience in personnel management and a strong technical background, particularly with Kubernetes operators and cloud-native software such as ArgoCD, OpenBAO, Prometheus, and Golang.
The role involves:
- Recruiting and Hiring.
- Team support and talent development.
- Personnel management of five engineers.
- Development leadership for internal tooling.
- Acting as "Product Owner" or Maintainer for internal tools.
- Contributing to the overall architecture.
- Incident, operations, and change management.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of multiple platforms.
- Unifying and optimizing platforms and processes.
Requirements:
- Agile mindset and experience with modern software development methods.
- Leadership experience, ideally in both software development and IT platform operations.
- Solid knowledge of software development, preferably with GoLang.
- Solid knowledge of cloud environments and Kubernetes.
- Experience in operating IT platforms on Linux and Kubernetes.
- Enjoyment in promoting and caring for the team.
