Job Description
IONOS is seeking a Head of NRE Provisioning to lead its Network Reliability Engineering team. This role involves analyzing and improving workflows, identifying and implementing efficiency improvements, and ensuring the timely and efficient provisioning of the global network infrastructure. The Head of NRE Provisioning will collaborate closely with NRE Automation to develop and enhance pipelines and automation tools, aiming to minimize manual steps and optimize efficiency. They will also work with NRE Operations to meet operational requirements and ensure a smooth handover process.
Role involves:
- Leading an international team of qualified network technicians.
- Creating, analyzing, and optimizing workflows for capacity planning, provisioning, and handover.
- Defining, monitoring, and improving KPIs to measure team performance, process efficiency, and budget adherence.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, IT operations, and network services.
- Developing and managing project plans, resource allocation, and schedules.
- Overseeing processes for supplier and supply chain management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, network engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in network operations, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading high-performing teams, preferably in international environments.
- Good understanding of network protocols, architectures, and technologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- English required, German is a plus.
- Experience with process optimization and project management methods.
