Job Description
IONOS is seeking a Product Lead to spearhead the development of its advanced website builder application. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams within the leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting solutions. The Product Lead will report directly to the Head of Product and significantly impact the company's objectives.

Role Involves:
  • Taking full responsibility for the website builder application, ensuring its development, performance, and success.
  • Leveraging modern technologies and trends to maintain the product's market leadership.
  • Expanding the scope beyond website creation to encompass the entire spectrum of online presence management.
  • Leading and inspiring a cross-functional team of over 30 developers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers.
  • Conducting competitive analyses to ensure the website builder remains cutting-edge.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed product roadmaps.
  • Utilizing advancements in AI, machine learning, and automation to optimize both the development process and user experience.

Requirements:
  • Education/studies in computer science.
  • Experience as CTO / Founder / Technical Director or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of website development frameworks, WordPress, and related technologies.
  • Strong developer background with the ability to program and understand complex technical challenges.
  • Leadership experience in leading teams with over 30 engineers, designers and QA specialists.
  • Innovative thinker with a broader view of online presence management.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and their integration into website platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the competitive environment in the website builder industry.
  • Strong communication skills in dealing with international, experienced C-level executives.
  • Fluent in German and English.
