Senior Search Engine Marketing Operations Specialist at Groupon

Groupon is seeking a Senior SEM Operations Specialist to manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including search, product listing ads, and brand and non-brand campaigns. This role will collaborate with analytics, data engineering, and marketing teams to drive innovative strategies and improve performance across international markets.

The Senior SEM Operations Specialist will be responsible for leading implementations of campaigns across various channels, coordinating projects, working closely with data engineers and analysts, and delivering weekly reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits, prepare plans, and lead the implementation of campaigns across various channels, including Google Ads and product listing ads.
• Own and coordinate 2-3 projects related to program and product development.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other teams to identify trends, address issues, and implement product improvements.
• Create and deliver weekly/monthly reports, providing actionable insights and making data-driven recommendations to optimize campaigns.
• Manage significant advertising budgets effectively.

Requirements:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in paid channels.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), conversion tracking, and familiarity with Google Analytics.
• Strong analytical approach with the ability to derive insights from data across multiple channels.
• Proven experience in preparing reports and formulating recommendations based on data insights.
• Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail.
