Groupon is seeking an ambitious and energetic Junior Sales Representative to join their growing Sales team in downtown Chicago. This role involves connecting with local businesses, helping them attract new customers, and shaping their success on the Groupon platform. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills, with an outgoing personality and the ability to work in-office 3 days a week.
What this role involves: - Finding and connecting with local businesses.
- Engaging and pitching Groupon's platform.
- Presenting tailored solutions to merchants.
- Owning and exceeding sales targets.
- Building lasting relationships with clients.
- Working cross-functionally to launch successful campaigns.
Requirements: - Confident communicator with strong listening and negotiation skills.
- Outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in-office 3 days/week in downtown Chicago (4 days during onboarding).
- Comfortable with technology and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with local businesses or the Chicago landscape is a bonus.
- At least 6 months of sales experience is nice to have.
What Groupon offers: - Base Salary: $40,000 per year.
- Commission: Based on gross profit — no cap.
