Groupon is seeking a motivated Commercial Business Intern to join their team in Paris. This internship offers the chance to work within the Local Commercial Sales team, focusing on enhancing business relationships with Groupon's partners. The intern will support sales teams across France, develop commercial relationships, and help improve results by combining marketing, finance, and commercial tactics.

The intern will gain valuable experience in a global company, working with tools such as Teradata SQL Assistant, Tableau, Google Suites, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Finding new ways to generate commercial leads using market-specific tactics.
  • Learning about ecommerce and applying it to real-world negotiations.
  • Analyzing deals published on the platform.
  • Supporting the Head of Sales and Country Manager in local and international projects.
  • Managing inbound drop-offs and reallocating inactive accounts.
  • Sourcing and generating market leads, and assisting in managing sales representatives.

Requirements:

  • A university or “grande école” education (bac+3/4/5) in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Excel, Salesforce, or similar tools is desirable.
  • Fluency in French; English language is a plus.
  • Based in Paris or nearby.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
