MD/BD Representative at Groupon

A MD/BD Representative is needed by Groupon in Dubai. The role primarily focuses on business development (60%) and account management (40%). The candidate will work towards achieving revenue goals for the Hotel division by expanding the merchant base. Must be based in Dubai.

The role involves:

• Working towards achieving revenue goals for the Hotel division by expanding the merchant base.
• Developing and implementing strategies to acquire large merchants and accounts.
• Handling negotiations and managing contractual agreements with key decision-makers.
• Providing regular reports on sales and account performance, ensuring alignment with Groupon’s standards.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth and successful deal execution.
• Managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, acting as a bridge between Groupon and merchants to build mutually beneficial partnerships.

Requirements:

• Must be based in Dubai.
• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience working in the UAE.
• Willingness to attend the office at least 3 days a week.
• Proven experience in acquiring large merchants and managing hotel accounts.
• Strong sales skills with a proactive, "hunter" mentality for business development.
• Comfortable managing complex negotiations and high-level contractual agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and act as a bridge between Groupon and merchants to build mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and focused on achieving business objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-Level executives.
• A customer-focused approach with a solid understanding of Groupon’s business and value proposition.
