The representative will focus on full cycle management, optimizing deals, and nurturing merchant relationships. This role is with Groupon, a marketplace connecting customers with local businesses.
The role involves:
- Providing inbound support to merchants.
- Nurturing existing merchant relationships and re-engaging former merchants.
- Developing familiarity with merchants' businesses and industries.
- Facilitating revenue growth by optimizing and improving deals.
- Achieving sales targets and maintaining high merchant satisfaction.
- Conducting market research and communicating insights to merchants.
- Developing and executing communications to promote growth opportunities.
- Utilizing knowledge of deal structure to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience upselling and reselling over the phone and cold calling.
- Experience developing a large portfolio of accounts.
- 1+ years of success in a sales environment.
- Customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and proven ability to multitask.
- Solid decision-making skills and customer-focused instincts.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
