The representative will focus on full cycle management, optimizing deals, and nurturing merchant relationships. This role is with Groupon, a marketplace connecting customers with local businesses.

The role involves:

  • Providing inbound support to merchants.
  • Nurturing existing merchant relationships and re-engaging former merchants.
  • Developing familiarity with merchants' businesses and industries.
  • Facilitating revenue growth by optimizing and improving deals.
  • Achieving sales targets and maintaining high merchant satisfaction.
  • Conducting market research and communicating insights to merchants.
  • Developing and executing communications to promote growth opportunities.
  • Utilizing knowledge of deal structure to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experience upselling and reselling over the phone and cold calling.
  • Experience developing a large portfolio of accounts.
  • 1+ years of success in a sales environment.
  • Customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to multitask.
  • Solid decision-making skills and customer-focused instincts.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
