Groupon is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their Groupon Goods team in Milan. Groupon is described as a marketplace connecting customers with local businesses. The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting and convincing vendors to partner with Groupon. The role involves identifying and securing new vendors across categories such as Home & Garden, Fashion, Health & Beauty, and Electronics.

Responsibilities:
  • Source and convince new vendors to schedule appointments.
  • Conduct meetings to discover, promote, and create commercial partnership offers.
  • Support partners during onboarding.
  • Update the Salesforce CRM.
  • Contribute to company growth.

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Business Developer with negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English and Italian; German is a plus.
  • Experience in trading across multiple countries.
  • Knowledge of a marketplace model.
  • Experience in vendor relationship management.
  • Experience in range assortment planning, vendor portfolio management, and sourcing.
  • Experience in pricing analysis and negotiation techniques.
  • Software knowledge: Salesforce, Deal Centre, Gsuite, Tableau, Commerce Interface, Freshdesk.
