Job Description
Groupon is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Milan. Groupon is a marketplace connecting customers with local businesses. The company is committed to helping local businesses succeed and fosters a culture of innovation and risk-taking.

The Business Development Representative will focus on Groupon Goods, the shopping marketplace, and will be responsible for prospecting and convincing vendors to boost their sales potential with Groupon.

Role Involves:
  • Sourcing and convincing new vendors to schedule appointments.
  • Conducting meetings to discover, promote, create commercial partnership offers, and close deals.
  • Supporting partners during onboarding.
  • Updating Salesforce CRM.
  • Contributing to the company’s growth.

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Business Developer with negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English and Italian; German is a plus.
  • Experience in trading across multiple countries.
  • Knowledge of a marketplace model.
  • Experience in managing relationships with vendors.
  • Experience in range assortment planning, vendor portfolio management, and vendor development.
  • Experience in sourcing & onboarding of new vendors.
  • Experience in pricing analysis and pricing strategy.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Deal Centre, Gsuite, Tableau, Commerce Interface, and Freshdesk.
