The Business Development Representative will focus on Groupon Goods, the shopping marketplace, and will be responsible for prospecting and convincing vendors to boost their sales potential with Groupon.
Role Involves:
- Sourcing and convincing new vendors to schedule appointments.
- Conducting meetings to discover, promote, create commercial partnership offers, and close deals.
- Supporting partners during onboarding.
- Updating Salesforce CRM.
- Contributing to the company’s growth.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Business Developer with negotiation skills.
- Fluent English and Italian; German is a plus.
- Experience in trading across multiple countries.
- Knowledge of a marketplace model.
- Experience in managing relationships with vendors.
- Experience in range assortment planning, vendor portfolio management, and vendor development.
- Experience in sourcing & onboarding of new vendors.
- Experience in pricing analysis and pricing strategy.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Deal Centre, Gsuite, Tableau, Commerce Interface, and Freshdesk.
