Lead Data Scraping & Enrichment Engineer – Growth & Lead Acquisition (Python, React..) at Groupon

Groupon is seeking a Lead Data Scraping & Enrichment Engineer to own end-to-end LeadGen and Lead Allocation pipelines. The ideal candidate should be a flexible, business-savvy engineer comfortable working across various languages and adept at rapidly prototyping solutions.

This role is vital for ensuring high-quality leads flow seamlessly from external sources to internal systems like Salesforce.



Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain microservices or stand-alone scripts for lead acquisition and data enrichment.
• Set up and maintain workflow orchestration using tools like Temporal, Airflow, or similar.
• Integrate with various external APIs and internal data warehouses.
• Rapidly develop proof-of-concept solutions to validate business ideas.
• Containerize applications or scripts using Docker and participate in CI/CD processes.
• Translate business objectives and lead-gen strategies into technical projects.
• Work with databases like PostgreSQL and integrate BigQuery for large-scale data processing.
• Implement secure coding patterns and champion clean coding standards.

Requirements:

• Comfort with multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, React).
• Experience building RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and containerized microservices.
• Familiarity with data manipulation at scale and workflow orchestration platforms.
• Ability to understand growth objectives and translate them into tech solutions.
• Comfortable making architecture decisions and driving features from concept to completion.
