Lead Data Scraping & Enrichment Engineer – Growth & Lead Acquisition (Python, React..) at Groupon

Groupon is seeking a Lead Data Scraping & Enrichment Engineer to manage LeadGen and Lead Allocation pipelines. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, business-savvy engineer comfortable working across languages like Java, Python, and TypeScript.This role involves:

• Architecting, developing, and maintaining microservices for lead acquisition and data enrichment.
• Setting up and maintaining workflow orchestration using tools like Temporal or Airflow.
• Integrating with external APIs and internal data warehouses.
• Developing proof-of-concept solutions and scaling them effectively.
• Containerizing applications using Docker and participating in CI/CD processes.
• Translating business objectives into technical projects and partnering with stakeholders.
• Working with PostgreSQL and BigQuery for data processing and analytics.
• Implementing secure coding practices and championing clean coding standards.

Requirements include:

• Comfort with multiple programming languages (Python, React, Java).
• Experience building RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and containerized microservices.
• Familiarity with data manipulation at scale and workflow orchestration platforms.
• Ability to understand growth objectives and translate them into actionable tech solutions.
• Comfort making architecture decisions and justifying trade-offs.
