Job Description

Outset Medical is seeking an Area Sales Manager to disrupt the dialysis market. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for selling Tablo, a clinically and financially superior MedTech solution. This role requires expert-level knowledge in the capital sales process, strong solution selling skills, and the ability to drive change and take control.

Responsibilities:

  • Create healthy tension to disrupt status quo.
  • Follow a defined and complex sales process with an average sales cycle of 6-9 months.
  • Build clinical, financial, technical, and administrative sponsorship through expert industry knowledge and intense customer strategic discovery.
  • Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales of the Tablo within an assigned sales territory.
  • Overachieve quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop expert level knowledge of Dialysis.
  • Make the economic case for Tablo through a robust hard dollar ROI.
  • Ensure adherence to Company Quality policy.
  • Negotiate complex contracts including software and IT provisions, cybersecurity, and business associate agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in healthcare capital selling meeting and exceeding budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
