Senior Site Reliability Engineer, EU, UK or Americas

Auros is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support its high-performance infrastructure for trading digital assets. The candidate will be instrumental in building, deploying, and supporting systems that execute millions of trades globally. This role involves enhancing security, resilience, and performance with an operational excellence mindset.He/she will participate in on-call roster and improve global infrastructure. Person will also improve security infrastructure, collaborate with other teams and develop internal tools.

• Participate in on-call roster to support trading operations.
• Maintain and improve global infrastructure for high performance and reliability.
• Enhance security infrastructure for a distributed company in a high-risk environment.
• Collaborate with teams on system layout and DevOps processes.
• Develop internal tools and automation.
• Tune and troubleshoot applications, providing guidance to developers.
• Actively participate in trading and infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

• Experience managing and optimizing Linux systems in a high-performance 24x7 environment.
• Cloud management using IaC (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Background in container management, deployment, and orchestration, with strong Docker skills.
• Knowledge of configuration management at scale.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices.
• Experience with application and infrastructure instrumentation (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, eBPF).
• Knowledge of networking management and routing in cloud and global SD-WAN environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and IAM policies.
• SIEM and threat management experience.
• Understanding of network security and zero-trust principles.
• Proficiency in securing Mac and Linux endpoints.
• Software supply chain security knowledge and experience.
• Coding skills in Python and Bash (must-have); Javascript/Typescript or Go (nice-to-have).
