Auros, a high-frequency trading firm, is seeking a Strategy Developer to enhance its presence in the cryptocurrency markets, with a focus on Asia, Australia, or New Zealand. This role involves working closely with a trader based in Asia, making it ideal for someone located in a compatible time zone. The position is primarily remote, offering flexibility in location.

The Strategy Developer will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on trading opportunities, improving existing strategies, and developing new market-making approaches while carefully managing risk.

What this role involves:

• Transforming trading opportunities into profits by developing and improving trading strategies.
• Developing systems for automated monitoring of 24/7/365 trading.
• Developing C++ and Python applications for market data and order execution.
• Monitoring trading and ensuring system performance.
• Collaborating with business, development, and trading teams.

Requirements:

• Experience developing high-performance trading strategies.
• Experience with low latency trading algorithms.
• Minimum of three years of C++ development experience on Linux.
• Experience with latency-optimised, distributed systems.
