Investment Banking Director

Job Description

CVX is seeking an Investment Banking Director to join their team in London or Copenhagen. This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing venture investor, contributing to the growth of ambitious companies.

The Investment Banking Director will manage their own portfolio, overseeing the entire deal process from start to finish. This includes identifying and evaluating business plans and markets, and ultimately closing investment rounds.

CVX is looking for an individual with a passion for investments, a strong work ethic, and exceptional analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring CVX is presented with all relevant deals in the market.
• Creating a consistent and high-quality deal flow.
• Analyzing companies, markets, industries, and teams to inform investment decisions.
• Negotiating term sheets to secure the best investment opportunities for CVX.
• Presenting investment opportunities to the investment committee.
• Managing investment processes with partners and finalizing investment rounds.

Requirements:

• High work ethic and a sense of urgency.
• The ability to close deals.
• Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's or master's degree with excellent results.
• 2-5 years of experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, consulting, banking, or similar.
