CVX is seeking an Investment Scout for its Venture Scout Programme. This is not a full-time role but offers remuneration based on success criteria. The program aims to build a network of talented VC scouts who can identify attractive investment opportunities. This role involves learning essential VC skills, meeting entrepreneurial founders, and shaping the future.CVX wants the Investment Scout to identify exciting startups, conduct research on their teams, markets, and competition, and write a 1-2 page proposal memo summarizing the investment thesis. The scout may also present the thesis to the CVX Investment Team.CVX aims to use its Venture Scout Programme to discover exceptional investment opportunities and gain a deeper understanding of the scout's vision. This program serves as an excellent first step towards joining the CVX Investment Team, offering an introduction to the VC ecosystem and essential VC skills.Role involves:

• Identifying exciting startups
• Conducting research on teams, markets, and competition
• Writing 1-2 page proposal memos
• Presenting investment theses
